Day 1:
[This is the translation of the Spanish diary I’m writing about the journey to Swiss I’m doing with school]
Hi there, this diary will be written by me and some of my school friends (right now, Ángela, who’s sitting next to me). What can I say? We haven’t done much more than go into the bus and then to the airport, played cards there and then boarded in the plane to Genève; the teachers who are coming with us told us that when we get there we’ll go to a (not) really interesting museum (or house-museum) about a Swiss philosopher. I haven’t eaten in hours and I don’t have any food with me, I hope I can buy something there, because if I don’t, I’ll have to wait until I get to the hotel at 16:30 and when I’m there I’ll have to wait around three hours to have dinner (that won’t be so fun… I don’t think I’ll be able to get used to the Swiss lifestyle in such a short period of time)
Changing the subject, I’ll have to start recording the video-diary, anyway… the mood in general seems to be quite nice, the situation with everyone is much better than what I expected, we (my school friends and I) thought we’d be “outcasts” most of the time, but actually, it is kind of the opposite. It’s 8:00 and according to my calculus, it’ll take around forty-five minutes to get to the airport at Genève, I guess we’ll be in France soon, where our hotel is (looks like every time I go abroad I visit two different countries, like when I went to Italy and Vatican).
Lucía came around (with food) and woke Ángela up (who is now quite angry because she says no one let’s her sleep with the loudly talking)… oh… she disappeared (strange, it looks like she suddenly vanished). I don’t really know what to do now, I want to sing (listening to “Set Fire to the Rain” right now, really love it) but it would be freaking awkward. Well, I guess I’ll continue with the Diary when I get to the hotel in France.
(…)
We’re at the hotel now and what can I say… it’s great, it has a huge window, I really love it! We’re all exhausted and the only thing I want to do is have dinner and a shower.
